Queerspawn Diaries is an independent
audio documentary project by and about young adults from lesbian, gay, bisexual,
transgender and queer families. Through audio interviews, young adults who
grew up in LGBTQ families collaborate with Queerspawn Diaries' producers to
make audio pieces about their diverse experiences of queer family.
The Queerspawn Diaries Archive is an online collection of interviews and pieces
designed for use by educators, queerspawn, researchers, artists, and activists.
Join the Queerspawn Diaries Archives Project! If you identify as a young adult from LGBTQ family, we would love to hear from you. Queerspawn Diaries is conducting short interviews with as many young adults from LGBTQ families as we can. These interviews are part of a new online archive that documents our perspectives, stories and experiences. All it requires is half an hour to spend on a phone interview (or in person in Philadelphia or Seattle). Write to us at queerspawn [at] riseup.net to schedule an interview or learn more.
Queerspawn Diaries in Clamor: Clamor Magazine is an independent
bi-monthly publication featuring articles about politics, culture,
economics,
people, sex, gender and media. A recent issue (#27 July/August 2004)
contains an article
featuring Queerspawn Dairies about what's at stake for non-nuclear queer families
in the current social/political climate.
